my name is Luthfi Musthofa A u can call me Luthfi, i'm studying at SMKN 4 SEMARANG i majored in Building Design and Information of building and am currently in grade 12 and i will sharing my experience at my work praktice place.

Vocational High Schools have a very important position in the function of preparing skilled workers to support the national education system. Efforts to prepare a skilled workforce in accordance with the needs of the business and industrial world. Semarang State Vocational High School 4 organizes Field Work Practices (PKL) as a specific learning process system that is ready to fill the need for quality workforce as required by the world of work/business/industry in particular. facing free markets and globalization.
Basically, Field Work Practice (PKL) is an organization that systematically integrates education in the world of business and industry. The integration of educational activities will eliminate differences in school and work standards and at the same time obtain a supply of employment. We carry out this field work practice for 6 months as a condition for completing the learning program at SMK N 4 SEMARANG. This time we carried out practical field work on the construction of a 12-story inpatient building at RSD K.R.M.T WONGSONEGORO, Semarang City, Central Java Province.
Construction of this 12-story inpatient building began in May and ended in December, this work was carried out for 8 months, this work included structural work. Based on this, a Field Work Practice report is submitted to understand and observe the construction of the inpatient building, so that students gain real knowledge of disciplined and responsible work procedures and project management.
Tower cranes are one of the important heavy equipment, especially in working on tall building projects. This heavy equipment has the function of moving material in horizontal and vertical directions. When selecting a tower crane you need to pay attention to several things, including:
Height of the tower crane (adjusted to the height of the building to be built).
Working arm (adjusted to the needs of the building to be built in the horizontal direction).
Tower crane lifting load capacity (adjusted to the load of material to be lifted).
